Research Use Policy
All Esencore products are for research use only. They are not for human use or consumption, and not for animal use or consumption. This policy applies to everything we manufacture, package, or analyze, and to every program we run for a customer.
1. Intended use
Materials supplied by Esencore are intended solely for laboratory research conducted by qualified professionals in an appropriate setting. They are not:
- drugs, medicines, or medical devices;
- food, beverages, dietary supplements, or cosmetics;
- intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or condition;
- intended for administration to humans or to animals;
- approved or authorized by any regulatory authority for human or veterinary use.
2. Customer eligibility
We supply research organizations, laboratories, and businesses — not individual consumers. By placing an order or entering a manufacturing program with Esencore, you represent that:
- you are a business or institution ordering in a professional capacity, and are of legal age in your jurisdiction;
- the materials will be used only for legitimate research;
- you have the facilities, training, and expertise to handle them safely;
- you will not administer them to any human or animal, and will not supply them to anyone who intends to.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for determining that a material is suitable for your intended research, and for its safe receipt, storage, handling, labelling, and disposal in line with applicable safety and environmental requirements. You are responsible for obtaining any approvals your research requires.
4. No medical or performance claims
Esencore makes no claim — express or implied — regarding any therapeutic, clinical, diagnostic, cosmetic, athletic, or performance effect of any material we supply. Nothing we publish should be read as medical or scientific advice, or as a recommendation for any use beyond laboratory research.
5. Resale and redistribution
Materials may not be resold, relabelled, repackaged, or distributed for human or animal consumption, or in any way that contradicts this policy. If you resell to another research organization, you must pass these restrictions on in full.
6. Regulatory compliance
You are responsible for compliance with the laws, regulations, and import or export controls that apply to you and to your jurisdiction. We may decline or cancel any order or program we believe is inconsistent with this policy or with applicable law.
7. What we document
Esencore maintains manufacturing and analytical records associated with the batches it produces, and can provide batch-associated documentation as agreed in writing for a given program. Documentation describes what was performed and observed; it is not a certification, accreditation, or regulatory approval, and does not extend the intended use described above.
